Gateway vs. Dell

"What opportunities does Gateway have to improve their customer service?" And "Is Gateway addressing these items?" I humbly suggest that the answer compare Gateway not only to other PC makers, but also to what ever company individuals think is World Class in a particular area or competency.

Is anyone up to taking a stab at these?

What about other areas of Gateway's business that have similar opportunities? These are all questions an investment banker would ask, so it may be a good excercise for shareholders here.

I make the following unsolicited commitments regarding any responses to this post:

1. I may play Devil's Advocate, but I will keep an open mind to information shared. (It is important to test the boundaries of the business model)

2. Any responses from me will be conveyed in a mature and professional manner.

3. If the group can convince me, I will invest my October quarterly bonus in GTW. Convincing me will be quite a challenge but if it happens it will be confirmation that everyone here has their money in the right place.
